As a distributor, you may have thousands of products available to sell at any given time. The process of adding these products to your website, maintaining the product details and specifications, and managing product listings can be daunting, strenuous, and costly.
When using Kodaris Commerce for your website, you have the ability to easily create and maintain individual product pages for each product you sell that contain information about the product, such as the price, product image, product description, and more.
You also have the ability to add product specifications to your product pages to offer your customers specific details about the item, like the color, size, material, etc. Adding specifications to your product pages not only allows you to further customize your website but also provides you the opportunity to enhance the buying experience for customers by equipping them with all the product information they need upfront before making a purchase.
On an individual product page, the specifications will be located under the "About this item" section and will have a dedicated tab titled "Specs".
The information available on the Specs tab is completely customizable. The text is editable, and you can choose to add just one row of information or as many as your product requires.
The product specification information can easily be added, edited, or deleted via the Kodaris PIM, which is accessible in the Operations Portal by users with the proper permissions.
Specs can be edited individually per product using the embedded spreadsheet available in the Operations Portal. Both the "Field Name" and "Field Value" columns shown on the screen below are custom, so you have the ability to include any information you see fit. There is also the option to update product specifications by importing a .CSV file. You can use the importing capabilities individually per product or via a mass import to easily update all or some of the product specs on your website.
Once updated, the product specification details you add to the Kodaris PIM will be available on your website in real time.
