Import and Export Content Pages

The Kodaris platform includes a powerful CMS (Content Management System) for creating and managing informational pages on your commerce site. Using the import and export feature, you are able to create and bulk update content pages, which is especially helpful if you need to add multiple content pages at once.

Export content pages

  • Navigate to the "CMS" section of the Operations Portal.
  • Click "Pages".

  • Select the "Data" tab.

  • Click the "Show/Hide Columns" icon to select the fields you would like to export, such as Code, Content, Title, or Parent Page.

  • Select the fields you would like to export.

Note: Be sure to include the "Code" field so your import information can be matched.

  • Go to "File".
  • Click "Export".

  • In "Save as" dialog box, rename the file if needed.
  • Hit "Save" to download a .CSV file of your exported information.

Import content pages

  • In your .CSV file, update specific pages' information or create new pages and their information.

Once the .CSV file is completed, save it and go back to the Operations Portal to do the import.

  • To import, you need to navigate again to Pages in the CMS section of the Operations Portal.
  • Go to "File"

  • Click "Import".
  • Choose your preferred importing options from the dropdown menu:
    • Default Content Page Mapping – select this if you want to import both new content pages and updates to existing content pages.
    • Default Content Page Mapping Create Only – select this if you want to only import new content pages.
    • Default Content Page Mapping Update Only – select this if you want to only import updates to existing content pages.

  • Select the .CSV file you would like to import.

All updates made will be shown in the Data tab once import is done.

Note: once you upload the selected file, the data in the file is created or updated. Please be sure that you select the correct file to import, and have your file prepared correctly.
