Commenting On Invoices

  1. Navigate to "AR/AP"

    Navigate to the "AR/AP" section in the Operations Portal.

  2. Click "Accounts Receivable"

    Then, click "Accounts Receivable".

  3. Enter the invoice number to search

    If you know the invoice number, you can directly enter the invoice number in the "Search" field to search for the invoice.

  4. Use filter to narrow down the invoices

    You can also use the different filters to narrow down the list of the invoices.

  5. Click the more details icon

    Once you found the invoice, click on the more details icon.

  6. Customer Comments and Internal Comments

    You can find Customer Comments and Internal Comments tabs. Customer comments are accessible by the customers through the Customer Portal. Internal comments are only visible to you and your team.

  7. Click "Customer Comments"

    To add a customer comment, click the "Customer Comments" tab.

  8. Enter your comment

    Enter your comment in the "Add comment" field.

  9. Click "Add"

    Then, click on the "Add" button to submit the comment.

    Once submitted, your comment will display above previous comments.

  11. Toggle Comments on the Open Invoices screen

    When the customer logs into the Customer Portal, the Toggle Comments icon is displayed on each invoice.

    If the customer clicks on the toggle comment icon of an invoice, all comments for that invoice will appear on the right side of the screen. The customer can also leave a comment with the invoice.

  13. Click  "Internal Comments"

    If you wish to add an internal comment, go to the "Internal Comments" tab.

  14. Enter your comment

    Enter your comment in the "Add comment" field.

  15. Click "Add"

    Then, click on the "Add" button to submit the internal comment.

  16. Internal comment is shown

    Similar to customer comments, your comment will display above previous internal comments.
