Moving Blocks

There are three different ways to move or change the position of a block within your page or post:

• Up and Down arrowheads in the block's toolbar
• Drag and Drop
• Move To option in the block's toolbar, in the More Options menu (vertical ellipses)

Using the Toolbar Arrowheads

The Up and Down arrowheads in the block's toolbar are one way to move your content block within your page or post.

• Select a block for the block's toolbar to show.
• Click the up or down arrowheads to shift the block one spot up or down. 

Using the Drag and Drop

The Drag and Drop option is another way to move a selected block to a new location within your page or post.

• Select a block for the block's toolbar to show.
• In the selected block's toolbar, click and Drag icon (six small dots), then drag to the new location within the same page or post.

• As you drag the block, a blue separator line indicates where the block will be placed.
• Release the hold by unclicking your mouse when you find the new location to place the block.

Using the “Move To” Option

When you select Move To, a blue line will appear between your existing blocks. You then have control of where to place your selected block elsewhere on your page or post.

• Click the vertical ellipsis on a selected block's toolbar.
• Select the Move To option.

• Use your keyboard arrows to move the blue line up or down to the desired position on the page.
• Press the Return (Enter) key to move your selected block to the blue line's position.
