Operations CRM - Sales Territory Assignment

Sales Territory Assignment

Sales Territory Assignment allows you to easily assign multiple companies to an employee user. The Sales Territory Assignment feature also helps expand the number of companies a crm employee can view/manage, supporting assignments over 1k companies.

Hierarchy of Assignment Flows

Both crmUseEmployeeAssignments and crmUseSalesTerritory can be enabled at the same time allowing use of Employee Assignment and Sales Territory Assignment in tandem. However, an employee user can only have one or the other.

When an employee is assigned a territory and has crm permissions to limit them to assigned companies, they’ll see all companies associated with that territory listed on their Companies screen in the Operations Portal.

  • Employee Assigned Territory

  • Companies with same Territory

  • Employees Companies view

If there is no Sales Territory assigned to a user and both assignment types are active, the system will fall back to the crmUseEmployeeAssignments flow and any companies an employee is assigned to will be reflected in their list of available companies in the Operations Portal.
