Customer AR - Account Deposits on Account

The Customer Portal offers a Deposit feature that allows your customers to deposit or send money to you in one bulk amount. 

Deposits can be accepted and are typically used for future purchases, down payments, or open invoices. 

To make a deposit, head to the “Deposit” tab. From here, your customers will enter a dollar amount, choose which payment method they want to use for this transaction, and then select the “Make Deposit” button. 

They also have the option to add a note to describe the purpose of the deposit, but this is not required. 

Once the deposit is made, they can be added to the banking EDI file transmitted to your ERP or, if available, inserted into your ERP via an API call. An alert can also be sent to your team to show that a customer has made a deposit.
