Start Date and End Date fields for CMS page scheduling
CMS pages now include optional Start Date and End Date fields that allow you to control exactly when content becomes visible on your Commerce Site. These fields can be found on the right-hand side of any CMS page details screen in the Operations Portal. When both fields are left blank, pages remain visible without any scheduling restrictions.
The scheduling system works in real-time, automatically showing or hiding content based on the configured date and time parameters. For example, you can set a page to become visible at a specific future date and time, then automatically disappear after a predetermined end date. This functionality is particularly useful for time-sensitive content like promotional campaigns, seasonal information, or temporary announcements.
This feature eliminates the need for manual content updates, providing automated control over content visibility.
This feature is now available in the Operations Portal for all CMS pages. For a complete walkthrough of the scheduling functionality, view the demonstration video that accompanies this release.
