Paul Kovarovic holds a Master of Science Degree in Logistics Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Paul began his career as a U.S. Air Force logistics officer. He supported F-16s for 10 years deploying around the globe in bare base environments as an operational logistician, and then as an acquisition logistician at the F-16 System Program Office. He has 35 years’ experience in commercial and DoD Supply Chain/Logistics positions. For the last 22 years, Paul has held various senior executive positions responsible for leading companies in start-up and turn around situations. He is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record, as well as a commitment to people.
Fernando Amaro is a managing Partner at AIM Associates, an investment group that provides direct investments in later stage ventures and partners with Private Equity to develop and execute growth strategies in the Power, Industrial, Medical and E-Commerce markets. Fernando is passionate about manufacturing and its importance towards a stable economy. He joined Kodaris Marketplace to utilize his over 25 years of experience in Electronics manufacturing, sales, and supply chain towards helping North American manufacturers integrate E-Commerce and Direct Distribution to grow profitable businesses. During his career, Fernando has established Celestica’s Utilities and IoT business which grew to hundreds of millions of dollars revenue in less than 5 years. He has also created global sales and technical organizations with teams distributed throughout USA, Mexico, Italy, China, Taiwan, and India.
Darrell Kem is the owner and President of Warfighter Focused Logistics, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Darrell started his company in 2013 and has spearheaded meteoric growth for the last five years. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force working on the flight line taking care of F-15 Eagles; there he learned the fundamentals of servant leadership. From his Air Force days, he honed his skills even further as a young leader at the Defense Logistics Agency as a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) OEM liaison to a one-star general. Due to his leadership and mentorship in growing his ‘Tiny Huge’ company, he has opened doors for his employees in ways even he never imagined. Darrell has an MBA from Franklin University and a BA from Capital University.
Andy Finch is the president of RMI, a professional services company providing international consulting and implementation support for start-up creation and business growth. Prior to RMI, Andy was the Vice President of Business Development for a subsidiary of Esterline, a publicly traded multinational where he held P&L responsibilities for several medical and industrial business units globally. His broad experience includes functional responsibilities for overall P&L, strategic planning, M&A, operations management, R&D, product development, sales, marketing, channel/partner development, and customer service. He has an MBA from Indiana University, an MS in Engineering from Purdue University and a BS in Engineering from the University of Idaho.
Over the last twenty years, Tony Zakula has been involved in Ecommerce, Financial Services, Mobility, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Accounting, and much more. Many years of experience managing both the business and technical sides of business has given him deep insights into how technology can be used to solve and improve complex business problems and processes. His real passion, though, besides learning everything about anything, is creating that win/win situation to improve business and, in turn, people’s lives.
Sara came to ASW in 2010 from a non-traditional background in healthcare. She has been a trauma nurse for 15 years. Her critical thinking skills and customer care knowledge have been vital to advising and assisting the needs of ASW.
Sara balances the tasks of an executive assistant with managing client care and consultant growth. Additionally her knowledge of retail, direct sales, and technology in healthcare has been a valued addition to the expansion of ASW into new markets.
